I believe that every student is a reader!
We need to arm ourselves with knowledge and enthusiasm to help students find the right book, the right story, to allow that reader to emerge. I believe in the importance of creating a culture of readers.
My name is Shauna Yusko, and I am an award-winning teacher-librarian and national presenter. With more than 20 years of experience in the fields of education and librarianship, I am well-attuned to the diversity of children's and young adults’ reading interests. I am the recipient of the Best Buy TEACH Award, the ING Unsung Hero award, and the Scholastic/Dav Pilkey Reading Superhero award.
